Yonks ago I picked up a pair of roller skates in a local charity shop (for £7, bargain of the century because they're amazingly good ones.) I used to love skating, but haven't for over 10 years now. I'm terrible at being out of control, but I used to really enjoy it so I thought I'd try and get going again.
Sadly, I live in a bit of England which restricts the places I'd actually be able to practice in so I left them at home. I muck about around the house on them but hadn't been outside until today.
I only did a lap of the office car park behind my house, but I'm feeling proud! (Though my poor bruised bottom would disagree.)

Fall number two. |
This is something I'm really keen to keep up, it'll take effort, but I really want to get good.
Anyone have an pro skating tips for an unbalanced eejit?
