Sorry for the silence, I'm back on the Isle of Man after a frantic weekend of video editing and packing!
I'm currently stressed beyond belief at the thought of not knowing what I'm supposed to be doing with myself after September. I'm usually one for precision planning, everything duly noted and regimented, ready to go well in advance. Heck, I started saving/planning for Uni at 15!
Right now I'm at a bit of a crossroads. My MA finishes in September, after that there's a huge expanse of nothingness. I've applied for a PhD (but still haven't heard back, well over a month later!!!!) and looked into jobs. I don't know whether I'll be moving back home, to Scotland or staying in Newcastle. If I'll still be living with my boyfriend or not. It's all stupidly unclear.
On the upside, I get to focus on my dissertation which is definitely taking my mind of things! Lots of archives to root through and ex soldiers to interview!
Being back home is also great, it's TT week so that means drinking, bikers, an amazing atmosphere and lots of fun. Plus, it's sunny! (These were all from my Grandparents' house.)
Oh, and here's the piece with the video I was talking about editing.

We Are Knuckle Dragger is a local band (Newcaslte) and the beer's not for the feint hearted!
