I Can't Stop, Travelling, Travelling

This post is brought to you by the not so terrible wifi provided by a Soviet style hotel in the Czech Republic!

I talked at the beginning of this blog about how much I wanted to travel, and I'm slowly but surely getting my wish. I spent yesterday on the most cramped bus ever with heating on full blast, no aircon and a screaming child and travelled to Manchester. Today I've flown over to the Czech Republic.

I'm here for a conference, but that doesn't start for a few days. It seemed like a very good idea to come early and experience ALL OF THE THINGS. I have a massive route of exploring planned for tomorrow. It largely hinges on being able to find my way to the Communist memorial, but once I'm there bridges, synagogues, graveyards and balconies all the way! I'm looking forward to seeing the Communist museum too, as apparently it's over a casino and next to a McDonalds. Beautiful!

Have any of you ever been before?
It's currently tipping down with rain, but I intend to explore regardless.

The hardest part was packing! I went with EasyJet and didn't have the money to pay to put anything in the hold. This meant I ended up with the tiniest suitcase ever (it's adorable)

It looks huge, but that's a single bed! It doesn't reach my knee.
By the time I had 3 shirts, a smart skirt and my handouts crammed in here there wasn't much space at all! Luckily Primark came to my rescue. I acquired some tiny, but smart shoes to wear for conference-y things and some peculiar socks which promise not to show round shoes (I'll review them once I get round to trying them!)

£4 in the sale section!

£1.50 toe socks

So, now that I've explored the hotel room, bemoaned the lack of a kettle and splurged all this at you, it's probably time to track down something to eat...

Have a lovely evening!
