Review: New Look Shapewear Leggings

I managed to accidentally buy some of the new Shapewear leggings from New Look inspire yesterday. I was in a rush and just grabbed the first pair I found (and got a bit of a shock at the till (£14.99). Thank goodness for student discount!)

Once I realised what they were I was pretty concerned that they were going to fit horribly/be really uncomfortable. I'd popped to buy them due to having to attend a working dinner at a fairly posh restaurant so didn't have much of a choice. I steeled myself for squeezing and discomfort, but luckily, I was wrong.

You can definitely feel the support there, it's not totally absent, but there's definitely not the horrible squishing feeling you associate with what a friend used to call 'slicker knickers'. I actually really like the feeling of support and the thickness of the leggings. Not to mention that they go right up to my waist as well as being long enough to curve round my foot.  Thank you New Look, I'm sorry I ever doubted you!

You can find them here

Despite being in a rush I also managed to grab these creepers on the way to the till. I've been after a pair for years, and they were less than half price in the sale (£10). I know there's cheaper out there, but thought I could be more sure of the quality. Ideally a thicker sole would be nice, but I love the colour, and they seem to be pretty comfortable. (I can't be 100% sure as the back falls right in the spot where some other shoes have rubbed me quite badly.)
