So I'm pretty late to the game with this, but Superdrug was running a 3 for 2 on Barry M yesterday and as a friend of mine recommended Barry M base coat I thought I'd try some of the glitter varnish (I've had my eye on it for a while!)
The base coat is brilliant, goes on smoothly and stays put. Has a nice shine too if you're just trying to protect splits etc. I got two glitter polishes, one pink and black and multi-coloured sparkles. The latter one is brilliant, goes on easily in two coats and plenty of coverage (none of this three bits of glitter per dip business.)

The pink and black sparkles were slightly more sporadic. In the end I decided to pain my nail black and then do another few coats of Barry M. The black is just a cheap one from a kit I've had for years (completely label-less so no idea at all on brand)

I really liked the look of this one, but it just didn't do it for me on its own.
The 3 for 2 in Superdrug also applied to the whole nail range including the textured polishes, so make the most of it!
