A Quick Glimpse of Freedom.

I would not want to work in my job full time. Right now I eat, sleep and breathe work and I am very glad I will only be here over the Summer. It's not that it's bad, or even that I don't enjoy it. It's purely the all consuming worries. I have woken up from terrible nightmares about missing children, used my free time to pour over maps - so we don't get lost whilst giving tours of places we've never been - and spent an hour of my first morning off in a very long time copying out karaoke sheets and cutting up slips. I enjoy it, I really do, but I know that it would become painful in the long run.

One of the best perks of the job is the travelling. In the last two weeks I have been to London twice, Stratford Upon Avon, Alton Towers and Newcastle (again) as well as places closer to base such as the Castle Museum in Nottingham (which is beautiful by the way.)

I had intended to travel this Summer, but due to changes in the funding of my MA I don't really have any spare money. Being paid to live in a different city and tour other places has therefore been a brilliant chance for me (as well as hopefully looking good on my CV!) All I could want is just a little bit more sleep...

An outfit picture to round off I think. Today is the first day in a while where I'm free of my uniform! Comfort is paramount so I've stuck with a Tshirt and jeans (sorry about the face, I was trying to keep it out of the way.)

Cardigan - £6 Asda
Tshirt - 50p Charity Shop
