My internet access has been patchy at best for the last few days. Between moving to a new house and then moving to Nottingham to work for a month, things have been a touch topsy turvy. Most of today has been spent exploring the city and having a good look around. I have actually been here a few times before but I don't know the lay of the land well. My main aim is to track down Homemade, a fantastic café which I love but can rarely find. It has an amazing range of baked goods and is veggie and vegan friendly.
The building I have been placed in is fantastic, the view from my window is lovely and the porters were kind enough to place my boyfriend in the second room inside the apartment. I'm hugely excited to see more of the area and the city.
Work starts properly tomorrow as the children begin to arrive, so hopefully all will go to plan and the rain will stop (please please please.)
